After completing my Bachelor’s Degree, I proceeded to the Diploma in Accounting Program, also at the University of British Columbia.  I am currently working towards my CA designation.  I am fortunate to be articling at Dickson Stojak Brown, as there are many lessons I need to learn regarding the accounting profession.

I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends, especially going out to dinner or going to the movies.  I am also an avid sports fan and I particularly enjoy watching football (that's English football).  It is a good opportunity to spend time with friends who are also interested in the sport.  My favorite team, of course, has to be Manchester United.  I have been a big fan of the team since I was a child.  Go Red Devils!

I was born in Hong Kong but my family and I immigrated to Canada when I was eight years old.  We decided to settle in Richmond and I have been educated in Canada for most of my life.  I graduated with Honours from the University of British Columbia, with a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce specializing in Finance.

I graduated from the Sauder School of Business at UBC with major in accounting in May 2006.

After my graduation, I worked at Clarity Investment Inc. which provides various investment projects to international investors.

I joined DSB in January 2008 as an accounting analyst and am working hard on my way towards the C.A designation.  I feel proud and honored to become a member of the talented team.  I love the culture of our firm and believe that the spirit of positivity and acceptance permeates me to excel.

I started playing badminton at the age of seven and since then I have played for many prestigious teams.  While in high school, I represented my school at the 2000 National Junior Badminton Championships.   Several injuries have forced me to retire from competitive sports, but I still enjoy many sports such as bowling, golfing and volunteering with community.  I believe that the key to success is passion, knowledge, and ability to seize every opportunity to better myself.

I graduated from University of British Columbia with an integrated science degree in 2006. While trying to decide what the next steps in my life would be, I went to Korea, where I am originally from, to teach English and science for a year.

Upon returning to Vancouver, I took my sister’s advice and completed the Diploma in Accounting Program at UBC.

I joined Dickson, Stojak, Brown in September 2009. I am grateful to be part of the team that is dedicated and helpful. As I work hard towards my CA designation, I embrace the challenges and continuous learning.

I grew up singing and playing various musical instruments in choirs and bands. I was actively involved in musical theatre in high school and university as well. It excites me tremendously when I attend live performances. In my spare time, I enjoy attending church activities, hiking, and spending time with friends. I am also a fan of CSI: New York and the Canucks.
